This policy explains what BioRune Lab does and does not collect when you visit biorunelab.com. It is written to be read, not to be skimmed past.

Information you give us

The only way to send us personal information through this site is to email us directly. If you do, we receive whatever you put in that message and we use it solely to reply to you.

The symptom self-check

The questionnaire is implemented in JavaScript that runs on your own device. The questions, the scoring and the result text are all part of the page you already downloaded. Nothing you select is sent anywhere, written to a database, or saved to your browser's storage.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard technical request data such as IP address, browser type, referring page and the time of the request. This is used for security and to keep the site running. We do not use it to build a profile of you.

We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which pages are read and how visitors arrive. Where analytics or advertising measurement tools are in use, they may set cookies or similar identifiers. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time, and the self-check will still work.

Children

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. Because we hold essentially nothing beyond emails you choose to send us, most such requests are resolved quickly. Write to us at the address below.

Data retention

Email correspondence is kept only as long as needed to handle your enquiry. Server logs are retained on a short rolling basis by our hosting provider.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be described here rather than quietly substituted.
